Answer:There's so many possibilities but I think that theree really is no 'man with a ring' and that kate just has a ring that she had some guy wear for the picture cause she knew she was being watched. And then Peter found out and just had the ring on for dramatic purposes. Just a thought. Or maybe the ring is some kind of FBI ring or classs ring that a lot of people have. Who knows, I just hope Peter isn't the reall bad guy.
