Should A Principal Follow Just The Official Time Even Though The School's Classes Start From 6am To 7pm?

A principal's official time is from 8am to 5pm. Classes starts from 6am to 7pm. Do you think it is still her responsibility to stay in school beyond her official time? Why or why not? Her pay remains the same even if she renders over time.

Answer:Personally, I don't think anyone should regularly stay late or start early. But then again, when it's an academic environment, I think a Principal should make sure that before he or she leaves, things are running realtively smoothly. If theree's a huge crisis, then it's OK to stay, but if things are pretty much under control, then it's OK to leave. Looks like they set the hours so that the Principal is theree for the majority of the time, whichh is the way it should be. But Assistant Principals and othere staff and teachers are theree the rest of the time to ensure that things run smoothly. This way, the entire school day and after school activities are covered.
