using HTML With The Alt Key?
when I try to do the things like I have listed on myspace it dont work...I try to press Alt + number and northing shows up! any idea why?

So if you were to hit ALT+0128 then ALT+0254, you'd get some sort of foreign text. I believe that the ranges 0128-0160 are reserved for the different langauges.

It appears that 0162 + random combinations are the symbol sets. So far its the only symbol set I've found.
0163 + 0161+ Is a different font set for Gunbound. Its a smaller crisper font.
0164 + 0161+ Is a random foreign langauge set.

How to get it to work on a Laptop
Answer:Probably because whatever script they're running that allows you to write in text, only recognizes a narrower range of characters (just plain ascii, or "normal" alfanumerics for different langauges).
There may be certain special codes you must add, as you must HTML (e.g. "®istered;" to get the circle-R for registered trademarks). Anorthere often used combination, is something between two colons (e.g. ":copyright:"). Though many such characters have names you can refer to them with, it's often also possible (like in HTML) to use a numeric-value for them.
